Ten people have been injured, four critically, and three law enforcement officers have been hurt Monday evening after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, in accordance with police.

“There’s a number of weapons that have been fired. Handguns, long guns, 223 rounds. If anyone doesn’t know what a 223 round will do, it’ll blow your leg proper off, it’ll blow your head right off your shoulders. These are the varieties of rounds that had been fired final evening,” Reynolds said.

He said there were “a couple different teams shooting at one another usually.”

“As we stand here right now, we’re lucky we don’t have a dead cop or lifeless citizen or lifeless community members," Reynolds mentioned.

The investigation is ongoing and officers are nonetheless working the scene.
