Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Massive Macs day by day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Huge Mac streak began on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I rely each Large Mac. I’ve counted every Big Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Big Macs a day.

“All by means of life right here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Huge Macs.’ I suppose I proved them wrong,” he said.

His son just isn't shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely happy meals. I all the time beloved my hen nuggets, and my brother all the time liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life form of thing for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has more of a various weight loss plan.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets day-after-day. I used to eat cheeseburgers each day, however ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, however he certainly does,” he said.

Gorske says he will continue consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect until he dies.

“Plenty of times folks will say, ‘You look like I’m consuming a Huge Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I assume that’s how I really feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s actually nothing else I’d rather eat,” he stated.
