Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Massive Macs every day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak started on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend each Massive Mac. I’ve counted every Huge Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All via life right here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be lifeless before you reach 50 years of consuming Huge Macs.’ I suppose I proved them unsuitable,” he mentioned.

His son is not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had pleased meals. I at all times beloved my hen nuggets, and my brother always loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life form of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has more of a diversified diet.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets daily. I used to eat cheeseburgers each day, but eventually you simply get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, but he certainly does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll continue consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side until he dies.

“A variety of times individuals will say, ‘You appear to be I’m consuming a Big Mac for the first time,’” Gorske said. “I assume that’s how I really feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s actually nothing else I’d fairly eat,” he mentioned.
