Teen arrested after mother observed son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - Several agencies responded to a middle school in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle School around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teenager by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the area along with several other businesses in an attempt to search out him.
The teenager was discovered close to the varsity’s campus and brought into custody.
