- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die aller ersten Suchmaschinen im WWW an, das frühe Web zu systematisieren. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten schnell den Wert einer nahmen Positionierung in den Ergebnissen und recht bald entwickelten sich Betrieb, die sich auf die Aufbesserung qualifitierten. In Anfängen ereignete sich die Aufnahme oft über die Übermittlung der URL der geeigneten Seite bei der divergenten Suchmaschinen im WWW. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Kritische Auseinandersetzung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webpräsenz auf den Server der Suchseite, wo ein zweites Software, der bekannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu anderen Seiten). Die frühen Versionen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die anhand der Webmaster selber existieren wurden von empirica, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Netz wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Content einer Seite, jedoch stellte sich bald herab, dass die Nutzung der Hinweise nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlagworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts repräsentieren konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Webseiten bei besonderen Ausschau halten listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller diverse Punkte in einem Zeitraum des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu interagieren, dass die Seite besser in Ergebnissen gelistet wird.[3] Da die damaligen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Aspekte abhängig waren, die ausschließlich in den Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr labil für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um überlegenere und relevantere Urteile in den Ergebnissen zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Betreiber der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Ereignisse anpassen. Weil der Ergebnis einer Search Engine davon zusammenhängt, wichtige Suchresultate zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten ungeeignete Testurteile dazu führen, dass sich die Mensch nach weiteren Optionen für den Bereich Suche im Web umsehen. Die Antwort der Suchmaschinen im Internet lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rangfolge, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwer steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Die Suchmaschine – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Auch alternative Search Engines bezogen in Mitten der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. als der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo search
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
