Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten direkt den Wert einer bevorzugten Positionierung in den Resultaten und recht bald fand man Einrichtung, die sich auf die Besserung professionellen. In Anfängen vollzogen wurde der Antritt oft zu der Übermittlung der URL der speziellen Seite an die divergenten Suchmaschinen im Netz. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Betrachtung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetseite auf den Webserver der Recherche, wo ein zweites Anwendung, der so genannte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu ähnlichen Seiten). Die frühen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die mithilfe der Webmaster eigenständig bestehen wurden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Search Engines wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Thema einer Seite, dennoch registrierte sich bald hervor, dass die Einsatz er Vorschläge nicht gewissenhaft war, da die Wahl der benutzten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Beschreibung des Seiteninhalts spiegeln kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei charakteristischen Stöbern listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Punkte binnen des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite richtiger in den Resultaten aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die damaligen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Punkte abhängig waren, die alleinig in den Koffern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr anfällig für Delikt und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um gehobenere und relevantere Testergebnisse in den Resultaten zu bekommen, mussten sich die Besitzer der Suchmaschinen an diese Faktoren adjustieren. Weil der Ergebnis einer Recherche davon anhängig ist, besondere Suchergebnisse zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten ungünstige Vergleichsergebnisse dazu führen, dass sich die Benutzer nach diversen Wege zur Suche im Web umschauen. Die Auflösung der Suchmaschinen im Netz inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Rang, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll kontrollierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin generierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Suchmaschinen – eine Anlaufstelle, die auf einem mathematischen Suchalgorithmus basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
