Between July and August 2019, intercourse worker Angelina Barini met together with her clients at motels in New York Metropolis earlier than giving them harmful doses of medication that incapacitated them. Then, she would rob the men and go away with their personal belongings.

Barini met her first victim at a motel in Astoria, Queens, on July 4, 2019. There, she gave the person fentanyl-laced medication and left the room. Police discovered him useless hours later, courtroom information state.

A week later, on July 11, Barini had an encounter with another man at a motel in Woodside, Queens, where she gave him fentanyl-laced medicine. The man additionally died of a drug overdose, a grievance states.

The following month, on Aug. 5, Barini met her third sufferer in College Level, Queens, and again gave him fentanyl-laced medicine that led to a deadly overdose, prosecutors mentioned.

Later that month, on Aug. 18, Barini met her last known sufferer, Andrea Zamperoni — a chef for the high-end restaurant chain Cipriani — inside an Elmhurst, Queens, motel room, where she drugged him with gamma-butyrolactone, commonly referred to as a “date rape” drug. The person died shortly afterward.

That day, court information state, Barini repeatedly tried to get rid of the victim’s physique. Barini wrapped Zamperoni’s physique in bleach-stained sheets and placed it inside a trash bin, based on prosecutors. Zamperoni was reported lacking on Aug. 21, prosecutors stated. That same day, the New York Metropolis Police Department found the man’s physique within the motel room.

When authorities later interrogated her, Barini mentioned Zamperoni had agreed to pay her for intercourse. When she awakened, Barini said, he was unresponsive and bleeding from the nostril and mouth. Her pimp, she added, wouldn't let her name the police.

Fernando Dallorso, the overall manager of Cipriani in New York, instructed the New York Instances that Zamperoni was a “dedicated hard worker” who cooked six days a week and “by no means missed a day of work.”

The kitchen employees mourned the loss, Dallorso told the Times.

“Everyone within the kitchen right now could be heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso stated.
