BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple costs.

An elevated quantity of law enforcement officials were positioned at faculties within the communities as a result of the indicators. Multiple schools initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly positioned the indicators across the communities, the Division of Security said, but they determined there isn't a credible menace right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The security division released a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor fees including false report back to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged at this time.
