EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 times the legal alcohol restrict after not less than five folks known as 911.
Officers say the calls started coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.
They are saying witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Important Avenue exit. They say the crash brought on a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, but the driver kept going.
Other callers say the driving force was all around the street and now missing a front tire.
They are saying he ultimately stopped at a automotive dealership and appeared “tremendous drunk.”
Workers advised police the driving force, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was attempting to sell his SUV.
Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had just been in a crash.
They are saying Mattingly smelled of alcohol and nearly fell a number of instances. Officers say he tested .291 on a conveyable breath take a look at.
Police say inside his SUV, they found Four Loko cans and a can of White Claw.
Mattingly is going through a number of fees.
He is the son of the supervisor for the Miami Marlins and former professional baseball player, Don Mattingly.
