A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information release from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Old Faithful geyser, the park said.

Fuller / VWPics via AP Images filePark rules require guests to remain greater than 25 yards from the animals, the largest mammals in North America, which are unpredictable, can top speeds of 35 mph and can bounce several ft.
An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison stay at the park, they usually have injured more individuals than any other animal, the park stated.
When the customer got here inside 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes within the air, the park said.
The lady had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different individuals have been also close to the animal when it gored the lady, the park stated. The release didn’t say if they have been injured.
The park warned people to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
