A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news release from the park.
The woman approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Faithful geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison dwell at the park, and so they have injured extra people than some other animal, the park said.
When the visitor got here inside 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes within the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and other accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different people have been also close to the animal when it gored the woman, the park stated. The release didn’t say if they were injured.
The park warned folks to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A previous model of this text misstated the severity of the woman’s accidents. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
